Heather Kirby is a dynamic speaker and enjoys creating tailored presentations, trainings and workshops for parents, students, educators, therapists, churches or any civic group interested in better understanding adolescents, mental health or LGBTQ issues.
Professional Training
Heather Kirby offers introductory workshops, intensive trainings, and on-going consultation to support mental health professionals in their work with gender diverse youth. Trainings can be tailored to the unique needs of your organization and are designed to elevate your competence and confidence in working with trans youth and their families.
A NEW intensive trianing is scheduled to begin on March 20 and will meet each Friday from 9 - 11 on March 20 & 27 and on April 3 & 10.
The training covers a lot of ground and each session builds on the previous, so clinicians should plan to attend all four dates. The training is approved for 8 CE hours by NBCC and NASW.
A monthly consultation group is available to all who complete the intensive training.
